it's "Wicked" hot in Boston
Well, in at least the opinion of our neighbors. It is currently 75 degrees on our porch, which is the warmest it has been, sans one day, since we have been here. Things are going well. Looking forward to Mom and Dad's visit next week, and the other Mom and Dad the week after. I will publish some pictures of the new Cleaned up house (new paint inside, cleaned up outside, new grass, plants, etc) once we get our camera back from Best Buy (for once an extended warranty worked!)

Late night of working
I am unfortunately, still at work -- it is 10 pm. I am trying to finish a research protocol that I have to present tomorrow (just found out about it earlier today). Just talked to Ben and Joanna on the phone; they got home late after visiting friends. Ben got to play with Ashton, who is his age, and they apparently had a blast. Ben can already say Ashton's name. He seems to be picking words up more quickly, so we really have to be careful what we say around him. Glad to see everyone is using the blog without any problem. Who knows, this might actually be fun. Must get back to work...

Historic Space Launch: Coming soon!!!
First privately funded space flight!!!
This is a really cool site, with lots of info about the project and pictures of Space Ship One -- a hybrid rocket that will carry 3 people to an altitude of 62 miles. The motor is powered by rubber as a propellant and nitrous oxide as the oxidizer, which are safe and inert compounds until ignited at high temperatures. Quite a bit safer than liquid oxygen and hydrogen.
